The IGBC was set up in 2011 to promote sustainable building in Ireland. IGBC is now Ireland’s leading authority on green building best practices and a part of a growing community of over 80 Green Building Councils Worlwide.

With a collaborative network of over 450+ member organisations spanning the entire built environment, the IGBC are in a position to accelerate the transformation of the built environment to one that is sustainable through leadership, research, education, and providing policy input to national and local government.
